Message From The Commissioner

The TWHL Hall Of Fame is the greatest accomplishment any participant with The League could achieve! It takes great dedication, an exceptional record, and League-wide respect in order to be inducted into immortality within the walls of this holy Hall.

We have several categories that personalities could be eligible for, including:

Players: Here, the greatest players in TWHL history can be recognized. Inclusion here can be based on production, longevity, awards, leadership, even their team's accomplishments. There are many aspects to a player that makes them an exceptional athlete, and inevitably, it usually takes a combination of several of these aspects to reach this point.

Builders: Here we find the persons behind the scenes; the General Managers, Owners and Commissioners. The TWHL couldn't be here without them! An original group of guys got together across the internet, and helped to put together a dream of David Easton: The Trans-World Hockey League. Since then, the continued involvement of GM's and Owners in The League have seen The TWHL continue to evolve and grow. A special few of these people are shown our appreciation here.

The Fourth Estate: The TWHL is built around coverage by The Press being the driving force of our League. Owner, Founder and Commissioner David Easton has made it crystal clear that it's the entertainment value in the originality, inventiveness and creativity of press releases (PR's) that makes him continue to run The TWHL. Here, some of those most respected reporters are given their due, and acknowledged for their outstanding and integral contribution to the game! Without them, we'd be just a bunch of mathmatical equations ... yeach.

Teams: What makes a "dynasty"? What are the limits that need to be reached? Do they change with successive generations? What boundaries encompass a team's ability to be recognized as superior to all the others? In this category, the answers are at least attempted to be defined. This could include successive runs at THE PRIZE, The Trans-World Cup, or repeated accomplishments on a smaller scale, such as Divisional domination. But in either case, in their way, these Teams have been able to rise above their peers.

TWMHL: Here, outstanding contributions made at The Trans-World Minor Hockey League level are recognized, including management, coaching, player development, player's production and longevity, awards, press coverage, and team success. Basically, all of the categories within the Hall Of Fame's TWHL recognition, all wrapped up into one place for The TWMHL - where champions are built!

Also noted here are the latest Hall Of Fame inductees that were privileged enough to have received enough votes last time around to be included into this hallowed shrine!. As well, the latest nominees, along with the arguments presented for their consideration, that will be voted on during the current TWHL off-season.
